Are you a charity that serves the Regina region? If so, would you like to be considered for a donation? Only members in good standing may nominate a local charity. But the best way to get the word out about your organization is to follow us on Twitter and ‘Like’ us on Facebook. We are committed to raising awareness of all our local charities, whether or not yours presents, whether or not yours is ultimately a recipient of funds from 100 Men Who Care! – Regina.
Eligibility Requirements
Only members of 100 Men Who Care! – Regina are eligible to nominate a charity/organization. There is no proxy voting.
In order to be considered to present at a meeting the charity must be:
Based in Regina or immediate area.
A registered charitable organization able to provide charitable tax receipts for donations.
National or international charities, programs or organizations will be not be considered at this time as the focus is on contributing to our local community. Organizations with a national link may be nominated, however, provided the request is for a project to be delivered in Regina. The funds must stay in Regina.
Programs within a large organization (e.g., a specific department or program within a hospital), will be considered only if that program is not being funded by the organization or its foundation.
Additional information:
Charities who present at a meeting but are not chosen to receive funds may be nominated again after 1 year has passed. Successful charities may be nominated again after 3 years has passed.
100 Men Who Care Regina partnered with the South Saskatchewan Community Foundation in the fall of 2024. Members will make donations to https://sscf.ca/funds/100-men-
Charities who make a presentation and are not chosen will receive a nominal donation of $200 for each charity.
Charities should expect to receive the funds approximately 6-8 weeks after the meeting.
The successful charity will present an update on their use of the donation at the next quarterly meeting of 100 Men Who Care Regina.
100 Men Who Care! – Regina reserves the right to amend these eligibility criteria when appropriate, without consultation with the nominated charities.
